to a pan till it covers the bottom of the pan
Add the
Cumin
to the pan
Put the pan at medium heat
Add the
Onion

Ginger root
and
Garlic
to the pan and cook until the

browns
Add the
Tomato

Red Chilli Powder
,
Salt
and
Tumeric
to the pan and roast until caramelized
Making the soup
Add the
Red Split Lentils (Daal)
and
Water
to the pan. Cook until the
Red Split Lentils (Daal)
are soft.

to the pan

to the pan and cook until the
